3D street art

Edgar Mueller is a 3d street artist from Germany. He travels all over the world creating his 3d street art, and it is amazing. The first time I saw his 3d water fall I thought it was real and the more you stare at it the more you get lost into the picture. I think all his work is amazing and I have so much respect for the guy! Here's some examples of his work but to see more go to http://www.metanamorph.com/

Fake I.D workshop

The other day Fake I.D came into college to do a workshop with us. We had to get into pairs so I was with Vicky, then we got given a picture and had to create a script to record which related to the image but not in the way that everyone would first see it. This was the script me and Vicky did, I'll try and get the picture up soon but to hear them recorded goto www.wefakeid.com they should be up soon.

Flea's

I found this on the design by Jack blog, however all it says is it's a Front Line floor poster in a shopping center in Indonesia, so i don't know who designed it I'm afraid but who ever did, well done! I think this is absolutely fantastic, so clever and witty! This is defiantly a ' I Wish i thought of that' piece of design.

True North

True North are a graphic design studio based in Manchester, they have some really good work, however they haven't got their website fully up and running yet they just have a holding page. So I can't find out that much about them and their work process, however they have some work on their holding page so check it out at ... http://www.thisistruenorth.co.uk/ and just watch this space for when they get the website up and running.

Fake I.D

Fake I.D is a independent graphic design practice founded in 1999 by Yvan Martinez and Joshua Trees. They initiate collaborations between artists, brands and institutions, and work with companies to expand the cultural dimensions of their communications. Yvan and Joshua both met after finishing their college courses and deciding that they did not want to pursue a career in their subject studied. They both went into fine art and that is where their career together started. Fake I.d are different from the usual graphic design companies, they initiate culture into their designs and make them more thought provoking, not as obvious as the other brands. Yvan and Josh have been doing work shops with different colleges' and Universities all over, we had the pleasure of having them in college to do a work shop with us. The work shop was really good, it took us right out of our comfort zone and had us experimenting with sound rather than images to create a reaction. The work we did should be on their website shortly, so to see the work of Fake I.D and learn more about them, and to see the work they did with us go to .. http://www.wefakeid.com/
