Fake I.D

Fake I.D is a independent graphic design practice founded in 1999 by Yvan Martinez and Joshua Trees. They initiate collaborations between artists, brands and institutions, and work with companies to expand the cultural dimensions of their communications. Yvan and Joshua both met after finishing their college courses and deciding that they did not want to pursue a career in their subject studied. They both went into fine art and that is where their career together started. Fake I.d are different from the usual graphic design companies, they initiate culture into their designs and make them more thought provoking, not as obvious as the other brands. Yvan and Josh have been doing work shops with different colleges' and Universities all over, we had the pleasure of having them in college to do a work shop with us. The work shop was really good, it took us right out of our comfort zone and had us experimenting with sound rather than images to create a reaction.
